Soils, Sediment & Subsurface, Inc. (S3) offers the following Environmental Services: 

    Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESA). 
    Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (Phase II ESA). 
    Transaction Screens 
    Environmental Soil and Groundwater sampling for Analytical Testing of chemical or biological contaminates/constituents. 

    Our staff has conducted Phase I ESAs as part of a potential buyers Due Diligence on developed commercial properties, small scale industrial sites, residential parcels, and large agricultural tracts.

    S3 has conducted Phase II ESA sampling at residential structures near former heating oil tanks to determine if leaks are present at the tank. The samples were screened for heavy oil constituents at a local analytical testing laboratory via EPA testing methods.  S3 has conducted Phase II ESA sampling for petroleum constituents in the soil and groundwater from off-site (adjacent or adjoining parcels) Gasoline and Diesel Underground Storage Tank (UST) leaks to determine if migration of the contamination has occurred.
